Diane Chamberlain Becomes Executive Chairman as Company Scales

HOUSTON, August 27, 2024— Issaquena Green Power (“IGP”), a leading provider of innovative power solutions, announced today the appointment of Diane Chamberlain as executive chairman.

Most recently, Chamberlain was president of Baystar, a Texas-based joint venture of TotalEnergies and Borealis that manufactures highly-customized enhanced polyethylene. Previously, she worked at Shell for more than a decade in roles of increasing responsibility managing technical services, marketing, and hydrocracking and optimizing supply chains on a global basis. Chamberlain started her career at Chevron as an engineer and manager and later served at Chevron Phillips Chemical.

Chamberlain commented, “I have been impressed by Issaquena Green Power’s vision for the future of hydropower and look forward to this role as executive chairman where I can work alongside the team to provide strategic advice and help scale the business. I believe the hydropower sector is primed for growth, as new run-of-river advancements, by IGP and others, will make this renewable resource even more essential to our energy transition.”

“We are both delighted and excited to have Diane join us in this newly-created role,” said Graham Copley, CEO of Issaquena Green Power. “Diane brings a wealth of relevant operational and project management experience to our growing business. As we continue working to harness the untapped power of river flows to redefine green energy solutions, IGP’s outlook will be strengthened by her industry expertise, market knowledge, and technical capabilities.”

With her appointment, Chamberlain fills a key position for IGP. She will not only help the company move forward with funding and development, but also assist in attracting the right human capital that it needs. IGP’s technology application can change the face of low-cost, clean power, and IGP remains committed to recruiting the best talent in the marketplace.
